Yhe work on the implementation of the policy of "open doors" initiated by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and broad international cooperation is successfully continuing in independent neutral Turkmenistan.
In his New Year message to the Turkmen people, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that all conditions are created in our independent country for development of culture, literature and art and a large-scale work is carried out to preserve, enrich and popularize the national heritage and congratulated our compatriots with inclusion of the nomination “Dutar making craftsmanship and traditional music performing art combined with singing” into the UNESCO List of Intangible Cultural Heritage.
During the Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization, which was successfully held in Ashgabat on November 28 under the chairmanship of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, special attention was paid to such pressing issues on the global agenda as climate change, ecology, and environment preservation.
The past month has brought new bright touches to the active socio-political life of the country, filling it with events that are particularly significant both for strengthening fruitful international cooperation and increasing the role and authority of Turkmenistan and its leader Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on the world stage.
At a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held on November 16th via digital system, the President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution “On financing the construction of a department for production of combined mineral fertilizers at the Turkmenabat Chemical Plant named after S.A.Niyazov.” At the same time, it was emphasized that over the past decades, the production of combined fertilizers has acquired great importance, and their efficiency is assessed by the presence of at least two active substances and a high concentration of the latter. The practical implementation of the new project will significantly increase the yield of agricultural crops grown in our country, improve the structure of the soil, the leader of the nation said.
The 15th Summit of the Organization for Economic Cooperation, successfully held on November 28 under the chairmanship of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, became one of the central political events of 2021, declared at the initiative of our country as the International Year of Peace and Confidence.
President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, addressing via digital system the International Forum on Northern Economic Cooperation held in the Republic of Korea on November 18th, stressed that today the real state of affairs requires a joint approach in combating the pandemic and minimizing the negative socio-economic and humanitarian consequences caused by the expansion of its scale.
Independent neutral Turkmenistan continues to successfully implement the strategy of broad international cooperation developed by the leader of the nation Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, actively developing constructive political dialogue and fruitful trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian ties with all interested countries of the world.

This September, marked by the glorious anniversary date - the 30th anniversary of the sacred independence of Turkmenistan, was highlighted by high international activity of ministries and departments in the context of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov's successful open door policy and wide cooperation with foreign states.
