On May 9, 2025, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov left for a working visit to the Russian Federation, where, at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin, he took part in the celebrations in honor of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, held in Moscow.

Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular online meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, at which the work carried out in the country for four months of the current year, was summed up.

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Friedrich Merz on the occasion of his election as Federal Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany.

Today, the President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country, General of the Army Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the State Security Council.
