«Garaşsyzlygyň merjen däneleri» children music and song contest dedicated to the 27th anniversary of Turkmenistan Independence was finished by Gala concert in the Mukams Palace. The concert was organized by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Culture and the State Committee for TV, Radio and Cinematography.

Opening of new facilities of educational sphere with participation of local artists is timed the Day of Knowledge and Students on September1; the concerts of art masters will be held in Ashgabat song and music centre and in the velayats.

The State Museum of Turkmenistan has hosted an event devoted to the popularization of the nation’s rich historical and cultural heritage in the world. Among those taking part in the discussions were officials of ministries and agencies of Turkmenistan, honored cultural figures and artists, eminent scientists, art experts, media representatives and students, who became acquainted with the book specially prepared by German and Turkmen specialists for the exhibition entitled “Margiana – the Bronze Age Kingdom in Turkmenistan”, taking place in Germany.

Representative of Turkmenistan was awarded with silver prize of XI International festival of circus art “Echo of Asia” held in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, on July 4 – 8.
