The diversification of processing branches of Turkmen agrarian and industrial complex provided the chance to reduce the import of sausage products by 5, 8 times in 2016 as compared with 2015. Today the demand of the population for meat, including chicken, milk, eggs is satisfied at the expense of private commodity producers which also provide home market with the basic part fruit and vegetable and gourd products.

At the auctions of the State raw materials and stock exchange of Turkmenistan 34 transactions were registered for the week.

A modern efficient power supply system is being created in a new urban-type settlement (currently under construction) in “Täze Ýol” gengeshlik, Kounyaurgench etrap.

Turkmenistan’s retail trade increased by about 17 percent in January as compared to last year’s indicator. Alongside with that, prices for consumer products and rates for services, rendered to the population remained unchanged.

In January, Turkmen FEC Enterprises fulfilled plan for oil and gas condensate production by 108 percent, raw hydrocarbon deposits conversion – by 107.6 percent, while the growth rate has made up 100.7 percent.

In January, an agro-industrial complex of Turkmenistan ensured the growth of overall production by 4 percent compared to the last year’s same period.

For foreign currency, businessmen from United Arab Emirates, Afghanistan and other countries purchased jet fuel, regular and calcined petroleum coke produced by Turkmenbashy Complex of Refineries. Representative of business circles of Great Britain bought naphtha produced by Seydi Refinery. Besides, for foreign currency the wheat, variety of one-coloured and jacquard terry fabrics, bedclothes sets and cotton yarn were sold out. The countries purchased the goods are Russia, UAE, Turkey. Total amount of transactions exceeded 11 413 000 US dollars.

At the auctions of the State commodity-raw materials exchange of Turkmenistan 35 transactions were registered for a week.
