Dashoguz, Balkan. The grain harvesting campaign in Turkmenistan is steadily gaining momentum. Today, in accordance with the schedule approved by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, farmers in the Dashoguz and Balkan velayats have started harvesting winter crops, where, taking into account the climatic conditions, the harvest, as always, starts later.

Silk growers of the country yielded over 2,300 tons of cocoons to the state, honorably fulfilling contractual obligations for the procurement of valuable raw materials for the textile industry. 

Successful implementation of reforms for integrated development of the country's agriculture, active introduction of modern achievements of science and digital system into the industry are currently contributing to a significant expansion of food production. At the same time, the export opportunities of the complex are also growing. This is especially important for strengthening the national economy, as well as for increasing the level of social protection of the population.
