President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the Resolution on production of rice in Turkmenistan in 2019. According to the document, the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Protection, administrations of Dashoguz and Lebap velayats are assigned to provide high production of rice in S. Turkmenbashy etrap, Dashoguz Velayat as well as in Daganata, Dyanew, Charjew, Farab, Sayat, Halach, Hojambaz, Kery, Dovletly and Koytendag etraps of Lebap Velayat.

By the request of the Ministry of Industry and Communication, specialists of the State Corporation Türkmengeologiýa have performed scientific and research works and discovered the deposits of iron ore at Gyzylgaya V section of Chagyl field in Gyzylgaya settlement of Turkmenbashy etrap, Balkan Velayat. It was informed to the Head of the State by Vice-premier M. Chakiyev at the session of the Government on April 5.

At the session of the Government on April 5, Vice-premier M. Meredov informed the Head of the State about the situation at the plant for production of gasoline from natural gas, which was built in Ahal Velayat. At present moment, construction works have been completed by 96 percent while commissioning works by more than 64 percent.
