Today, the Turkmen capital hosted a Dialogue between Women of Central Asian States and the Russian Federation “The Role of Women in Socio-Political and Socio-Economic Development” with the participation of representatives of five countries of the region, Russia, heads of regional structures of the United Nations.

The flower-laying ceremony at the Monument to the Constitution of Turkmenistan took place before the Forum.

As a result of the Inter-Parliamentary Forum of the countries of Central Asia and the Russian Federation in Ashgabat, two agreements on cooperation were signed.

The solemn meeting of the Inter-Parliamentary Forum of the countries of Central Asia and the Russian Federation ended in Ashgabat.

Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received Chairwoman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matviyenko, who arrived in Turkmenistan at the head of her country's delegation to participate in the Inter-Parliamentary Forum of the States of Central Asia and Russia and in the plenary session of the Women's Dialogue.
