Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has held an enlarged joint meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers and State Security Council, which summed up the outcome of work of branches of national economy for five months of the current year, considered drafts of a number of documents and discussed some other issues. Khyakims of regions and Ashgabat city also participated in the meeting.

Today, the Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan, Honorary Elder Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, on behalf of the President of the country, made a working trip to Ahal Velayat, where he got acquainted with the progress of work on the construction of a new modern administrative center of this region, and also held a meeting with the participation of relevant leaders, having discussed topics concerning the successful implementation of this large-scale project and the fulfillment of previously given instructions.

Today, according to the established good tradition, the World Bicycle Day has been celebrated in our country. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part in a mass bike ride held in the capital on the occasion of this international holiday, which has taken its rightful place in the calendar of the United Nations.
