Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Co-Chairman of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Russian Commission on Economic Cooperation Alexei Overchuk, who arrived in Ashgabat on a working visit at the head of the government delegation of his country.

Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has held a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, at which the outcome of development of sectors of national economy for the first quarter of the current year was summed up, reports of Deputy-Chairmen of the Cabinet and khyakims of regions were heard, their activities were assessed and priority goals of socio-economic development of Turkmenistan for the upcoming period were outlined.

Today, a telephone conversation took place between President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, on behalf of the people and the Government of Turkmenistan, as well as on his own behalf, sent sincere congratulations and best wishes to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and all the friendly people of the country on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation.

The World Health Day is celebrated today in Turkmenistan according to the established good tradition. A mass bike ride, in which President Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part, was timed to coincide with this international date, fixed in the national calendar.
