President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the country, Army General Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has held offsite session of the State Security Council and participated in the groundbreaking ceremony of equestrian complex of military and law enforcement agencies.

On May 5, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov had a telephone conversation with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Mukhriddin.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has made a working trip to Ahal Region inspecting production activity of Miwe Open Joint Stock Company and facilities of its engineering and technical infrastructure. Matters related to rational use of water in agricultural complex and water management sphere in general were the subjects of close attention of the head of the state.

Representatives of the Mejlis of the Milli Gengesh took part in an online meeting organized by the Secretariat of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe to discuss the preparatory work for the next session of OSCE Parliamentary Assembly.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, on May 3, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov had a telephone with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tileuberdi.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has held video conference session with participation of some Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, heads of the regions and Ashgabat as well as Minister of Health Protection and Medical Industry. Issues related to fulfilment of objectives set out in the Program of social and economic development of the regions, seasonal agricultural works as well as preparation to coming celebration events were reviewed at the session.

Valentina Matvienko, Chairperson of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation addressed congratulations to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on the election to the post of the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Milli Gengesh.

On the instruction of the President of Turkmenistan, the delegation of our country, headed by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Chairman of the Supreme Control Chamber Serdar Berdimuhamedov participated in the meeting of the European Intergovernmental Council, held in the Republic of Kazan (Tatarstan, Russian Federation) on April 29-30.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has held regular video conference session of the Cabinet of Ministers, at which current issues of the state life have been reviewed.
