Following the traditionally friendly cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation, based on the principles of mutual respect and support, as a token of friendship and good neighborliness, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution, authorizing:

President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the country, Army general Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who arrived on working trip in Balkan Velayat, held offsite session of the State Security Council. Outcomes of work performed by military and law enforcement agencies for four months of the year have been reviewed and future objectives have been set at the session.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov participated in Online Summit-level meeting of Non-Aligned Movement Contact Group in Response to COVID-19.

The President of Turkmenistan signed relative Resolution to make favourable conditions for receiving modern education by younger generation as well as for presenting computers to school students who start studying in 2020 – 2021 in secondary comprehensive schools of the country.

Humanitarian cargo with food production made in our country has been delivered from Turkmenistan to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. As is known, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution on sending of humanitarian aid on occasion of the Holy month of Ramadan from Turkmenistan to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.

Good wishes to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and all Turkmenistan citizens have been addressed on occasion of the Holy month of Ramadan by President of United Arab Emirates Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahayan, Vice-President of United Arab Emirates, Prime Minister, Ruler of Dubai Muhammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of United Arab Emirates Muhammed Bin Zayed Al Nahayan.

Vice-Premier, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov had a telephone conversation with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mohammad Javad Zarif.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held regular video conference working session of the Cabinet of Ministers where current objectives of the state life have been discussed.

At the session of the Government on May 1, Vice-premier, Foreign Minister R. Meredov informed the Head of the State about measures for intensification of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the World Trade Organization.

The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution, having assigned the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Protection, administrations of Balkan and Mary Velayats to provide the production of sugar beets in etraps of the above-mentioned regions using scientifically based crop rotation.
