The adoption the Presidency Declaration on the outcomes of First Caspian Economic Forum, which was held in Avaza National tourist zone on August 11 – 12, as a document of the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly and its release in official languages of this international organization was another evidence of the recognition of the appropriateness of international initiatives of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and growing international authority of our country.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held video conference session with participation of the Chairperson of the Mejlis and Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers dedicated to remarkable events for our country. Thus, the UN General Assembly adopted an important document – the Resolution on declaration of 2021 as International Year of Peace and Trust, which was initiated by the President of Turkmenistan.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held extended session of the Cabinet of Ministers where the outcomes of work of the branches of national economy for eight months of the year have been summed up, realization of the programme of social and economic development of the country has been analysed and results of activity of the Government and certain departments have been reviewed.

By the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Chary Gylgyjov was reprimanded for improper fulfilment of his duties, loss of control of activity of the ministry and profile departments under his supervision.

The Head of the State signed the Resolution on announcement of the contest among the literature, culture and art personnel, young singers and talented children for the prize of the President of Turkmenistan Türkmeniň Altyn asyry.

The capital hosted the fifth session of Intergovernmental Turkmen – Azeri Commission for economic cooperation, for participation in which representative delegation chaired by First Deputy of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Yagub Eyyubov has come to our country.

The Economic Council of the Commonwealth of Independent States held the 83d session in Ashgabat.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received Chairman of the Executive Committee – the Executive Secretary of the Commonwealth of Independent States Sergey Lebedev who came to Turkmen capital.

The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution on release of Soltangeldy Babayev from the post of the Chairman of the Central Council of Magtumguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan and on appointment of Yazmuhammet Ovezberdiyev as the Chairman of the Central Council of Magtumguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan, having approved the decisions of the VI Congress of Magtumguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan from 11 September 2019.

The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution, having approved the composition of Intergovernmental Turkmen – Kyrgyz Commission for trade and economic, scientific, technical, and humanitarian cooperation from Turkmen side for realization of bilateral relations between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Kyrgyzstan as well as for further development of cooperation between two countries.
