The fourth session of authorised representatives of Caspian States for discussion of the Draft Protocol on Cooperation in Combating of Illegal Extraction of biological Resources (poaching) in Caspian Sea started its work in the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan.

During working session on February 25, the President focused on number of aspects of natural protection policy of Turkmenistan, having highlighted that cooperation in this sphere with other states and international organizations is the key aspect of foreign course of our country.

The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution, having permitted the Türkmenhowaýollary Agency of the Ministry of Industry and Communication of Turkmenistan to enter into contract with Gündogdy private Company on project planning and construction of the airport in Kerky, Lebap Velayat, which would be able to serve 100 passengers per hour, with the planning of surrounding territory.

For further continuation of marketing relations in national economy, further improvement of price formation and social protection of consumers, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution according to which prices (tariffs) on important goods, production, works and services of production and technical purpose and social importance are subject to be regulated by the state.

At the session of the Government on February 22, Vice-premier, Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov informed the President about the work for development of the relations with the states of Asian Pacific region.

Under official visit to Turkmenistan, President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Mohammad Ashraf Ghani visited the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the afternoon where he made a speech for professors, lecturers and students of the IIR and International University of Humanitarian Studies and Development.
