President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held regular video conference session with the participation of some Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers and heads of the ministries, hyakims of velayats and Ashgabat. The agenda included the discussion of the utmost objectives of regional and capital development.

Vice-premier, Head of Foreign Ministry Rashid Meredov informed the Head of the State about the outcomes of the session of Organization Committee for preparation to the first Caspian Economic Forum during video conference session.

Turkmenistan delegation will go on working visit to Germany for participation in Turkmen – German business forum on February 11 – 14. During video conference session on February 11, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov approved the drafts of intergovernmental documents planned to be signed during the forum and sent relevant Resolution to the Vice-premier by electronic document management system.

Vice-premier, Head of the Foreign Ministry Rashid Meredov had working trip to the capital of the Republic of Tunisia where he was received by President Beji Caid Essebsi. Mutual intent to active cooperation in international arena, in particular under the United Nations, has been expressed during the meeting. In this regard, it is worth mentioning that Tunisia is the co-author of number of the Resolutions of the UN General Assembly initiated by Turkmenistan and unanimously adopted by the world community.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of India Shalar Geldynazarov presented the credentials to President Ram Nath Kovind.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held regular video conference session of the Cabinet of Ministers where outcomes of work of the branches of national economy in January have been summed up and current subjects of the state life have been discussed.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov had a meeting with the deputy corps of the Mejlis where objectives of National Parliament have been specified and priority directions of law-making work in the context of the Programme of social and economic development of the country on 2019 – 2025 have been outlined.

According to the Resolution of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov was sent to Tunis on February 7 – 9, 2019 for political consultations between foreign departments of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Tunisia as well as for discussion of the subjects of bilateral cooperation.
