Today, upon the completion of the working visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan and on arrival in Ashgabat, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a joint meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers and the State Security Council at the International Airport of the capital. The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Mejlis, deputy chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, members of the State Security Council, heads of some ministries and departments, hakims of the city of Ashgabat and Ahal velayat.

Turkmenistan carries out efficient work for assertion of the healthy life style. This is indicated by opening of new physical training and sports complexes, regular football, volleyball, basketball, hockey, cycling competitions, creation of conditions for participation of Turkmen athletes in international tournaments and championships, - the message says.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov became an honored guest of the opening ceremony of the International Specialized Exhibition ""Astana EXPO-2017"" within the framework of his working visit to Kazakhstan. The exhibition will be held under the motto ""Energy of the Future"" at this global review, where is presented the National Pavilion of our country as well and will be demonstrated ideas and solutions on renewable energy sources and implementation of the principles of the ""green economy"" .

During his working trip to Kazakhstan, the President of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, met with the President of the People’s Republic of China, Xi Jinping, also visiting Astana.

The President of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, held the session of the Cabinet of Ministers where the issues pertaining to the state affairs have been discussed, and several draft documents reviewed.

The third meeting of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Hungarian Commission for Economic Cooperation will be held on June 15-16 this year in Ashgabat.

Mekan Ishangulyev was appointed as an ambassador of Turkmenistan to Azerbaijan. The corresponding documents were signed by President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov at a government meeting.

The ceremony is to be held on June 9 and it is expected that the heads of number of countries will take part in it.
