President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov sent deep condolences to Prime Minister of the Republic of Italy Matteo Renzi over several earthquakes that stroke Italy within a short period of time and caused human casualties and massive destruction.

On October 31, President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov held a regular video-teleconference working session with several Deputy Chairpersons of the Cabinet of Ministers, khyakims of regions and the Khyakim of Ashgabat city. The session’s agenda covered important issues of the affairs of the state, progress of seasonal agricultural works, current situation in the regions in the context of implementing national and regional development programs.

Last week, a meeting was held in the National Parliament with the delegation of the People’s Republic of China that arrived in Ashgabat headed by Deputy Chairperson of All-China Women’s Federation Ms Shen Yueyue.

On October 27, Mejlis of Turkmenistan hosted a meeting with members of a representative delegation led by Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Murtaza Javed Abbasi, who had come on a visit to the Turkmen capital to join the celebrations in honor of the 25th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Independence.

On October 27, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov convened a joint session of the Cabinet of Ministers and the State Security Council to sum up the results of the festive parade held to mark the 25th anniversary of the Motherland’s Independence and to discuss some other issues of state life. Governors of velayats and Ashgabat also attended the session.
