On January 22, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov convened a regular session of the Cabinet of Ministers to consider the plans of important activities for the current period, the priority issues of the country’s social and economic development and other topical issues of state life.

On January 21, the Turkmen capital hosted talks between President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov and President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, who had arrived in our country on a two-day state visit.

On January 20, President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov received US Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Turkmenistan Allan Mustard, who presented his credentials to the head of state.

On January 19, President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov conducted a regular working video-selector meeting with participation of Chairperson of Mejlis of Turkmenistan, some Cabinet Deputies Chairman, khyakims of velayats and Ashgabat city, and heads of some sectoral agencies.

On January 16, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov held a regular session of the Cabinet of Ministers to consider the priority issues of state life, as well as some important draft documents.

On January 15, President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov had a meeting with deputies of the national parliament of the fifth convocation to define the priority tasks set before the parliamentarians for the next stage of the Turkmen state’s development in the epoch of power and happiness.

On January 13, the President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country, General of the Army Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov conducted the first session of the State Security Council in the running year to consider the outcomes of work of the country’s military and law-enforcement bodies in 2014.

On January 12, the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov presided over a regular working video-selector meeting with participation of khyakims of velayats and Ashgabat city.

On January 9, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov convened an enlarged session of the Cabinet of Ministers. Among those attending the session were representatives of Mejlis of Turkmenistan, khyakims of velayats, etraps and cities, leaders of ministries and sectoral agencies, rectors of higher education institutions, editors of newspapers and magazines.

On January 5, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov conducted a working meeting in the format of videoconferencing. Among those attending the meeting were some Cabinet Deputies Chairman, khyakims of velayats and Ashgabat city.
