Weightlifting competitions have been completed at the XVIIII Summer Asian Games. According to the tradition, the heavy weightlifters were the last to compete. Hojamuhammet Toychiyev represented our country in the weight category above 106 kg where he took the fourth position in the tournament table.

The jujitsu tournament has been competed at the Asian Summer Games. Despite all efforts, Turkmen sportsmen have lost their chances to win event though they were close to win. Except Kemal Meredov who won the bronze in ‘ne-waza’ discipline in the weight category up to 56 kg.

The sixth day of the XVIII Summer Asia Games has brought another bronze medal to national team. This is the first medal for Turkmenistan in jujitsu competitions in “ne-waza” discipline won at the Asian Games.
