Turkmenistan is planning to protect architectural projects from the plagiary. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov gave relative instructions at the session of the Cabinet of Ministers. The Head of the State noted that at present time, the unique architectural facilities and buildings, many of which were listed in the Guinness World Records Book, are erected in our country. In this regards, the necessity of introduction of the article requiring the contractor to register relative patent for the protection of original architectural developments and ideas from the plagiary was highlighted. It was noted that it is necessary to precondition the accountability of the contractor and principal in case of the transfer of the project to the third party. Every contract must include the above-mentioned article, the Head of the State highlighted, having given the assignment to Vice-premier to issue the patents to all large and important constructions of the country. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also noted that all the tenders for the construction have to be exercised by the Ministry of Construction and Architecture.
