Past week at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan 16 transactions were registered. For the foreign currency businessmen from the United Arab Emirates bought potassium iodide (SC ""Turkmenkhimiya""). Besides it, for the foreign currency cotton fabric and yarn, jeans fabric, cotton fibre was realised. The countries-buyers: Russia, the United Arab Emirates, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine and others. The total sum of transactions exceeded 5 million 215 thousand US dollars. For the manat, representatives of business circles of Great Britain purchased cotton fabric for 900 thousand 514 manats. For the home market local businessmen bought food wheat, cotton fibre, cargo motor transport for a total sum of more than 6 million 767 thousand manats.
