Turkmen fighters win one gold and five bronze medals at the VII Intrnational Martial Arts Games

VII International Martial Arts Games, where Turkmen National taekwondo team won two bronze medals in team competition and one bronze medal in personal offset, have finished in Minsk. Turkmen taekwondo team comprising of Goshaniyaz Durdiyev, Orazmyrat CHariyev, Gaygysyz Atabayev, Annamyrat Goshaniyazov and Serdar Hydyrov performed well in two disciplines – the team tuli (complex exercises) and team sparring. Having demonstrated the cohesion and coordination, our team won two bronze medals. Bronze medal of Abdyrahman Hasanov who won experienced Russian fighter was the last one. As it was informed before, large tournament in Minsk traditionally unites several; martial arts, which are not included in the programme of the Olympic Games, such practice of regular participation in international competitions as well as the spread of these martial arts across the continents gives the opportunity to get the status of the Olympic sport.
