Turkmenistan having huge natural resources is recognized in the world as large producer of energy resources, which we use for further improvement of the life level of our people and for the provision of happy future of the entire humankind. This is visually indicated by big projects in oil and gas complex and targeted programmes, - congratulation message of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov says. This grandiose projects initiated and realized by Turkmenistan have great international importance. Turkmenistan – Afghanistan – Pakistan – India gas line is among them. Implementation of new projects on construction of gas lines will be among priority vectors of our state policy in the future. That is why we pay special attention to the development of oil and gas complex, which is one of the leading branches of the economy. Our country makes special emphasis on the solution of the objectives of deep processing of natural gas for the production of the items, which are on high demand in the world’s markets. In this context, the construction of petrochemical complexes for production of highly demanded items has been started and successfully carried out recently. This is closely connected with perspectives of the industrialization of the country and diversification of its economy. Paying special attention to beneficial international cooperation in energy sphere, Turkmen state improves its positions proposing constructive initiatives that find wide support by the world community. This is indicated by the success of international events related to the chairing of Turkmenistan in the Energy Charter Conference in 2017. The colossal work for expansion of cooperation with foreign partners and establishment of the production of innovative goods on the world’s standard level has been carried out owing to selfless work of Turkmen oil, gas and geology personnel who efficiently use new technologies for deep well drilling and development of the fields, implement the latest scientific developments in production and exploration of hydrocarbon deposits for the improvement of the development rates of oil and gas sector,. The oil and gas industry, which is strategic branch of national economy, has big objectives for realization of grandiose perspective projects. I am firmly confident that the personnel of the branch will deservingly solve them according to the Programme of the Development of Oil and Gas Industry of Turkmenistan until 2030, - the message highlights.
