The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution approving the Concept of improving the teaching of foreign languages, as well as a plan of actions for its implementation. At the first stage, in 2018, it is planned to master the world experience in the field of methodological support, improvement of state standards, relevant curricula and training programs. In the second stage, in 2019-2020, the system of training and retraining of teachers, the educational and methodological base in this area will be improved, and monitoring will be launched to control the effectiveness of the implementation of this Concept. At the third stage, in 2021-2024, it is planned to create a continuous, consistent and interrelated system of teaching foreign languages. As the President of Turkmenistan noted at the meeting of the government in December 22, the introduction of advanced computer, Internet technologies and multimedia in the learning process opens up great opportunities in the teaching of foreign languages, including in the remote format. All this requires the development of new methods of training, the training of highly qualified teaching staff. It is also important to pay attention to the motivation of students, starting from preschool age, the Head of the state said, giving Deputy Prime Minister S.Toilyev an assignment to implement the above-mentioned concept at all levels of the educational process.
