Cotam Enterprises Ltd. is to build textile complex in Kaahka Etrap

According to the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Textile Industry is authorized to sign the contract with Cotam Enterprises Ltd. (the British Virgin Islands) for the design and construction of a textile complex in Kaahka Etrap, Ahal Velayat. The complex to be supplied with the most advanced equipment will produce 3,650 tons of cotton yarn, 12 million square metres of high-quality fabrics, 10 million square metres of dyed fabrics and 1.2 million of sewn products annually. The construction project envisages the improvement of the territory adjacent to the complex, the construction of the outer run utility lines, training of specialists, and the supply of spare parts for the technological equipment to be installed at the complex within two years after putting the facility into operation. In accordance with the document, the construction works are to be started in March, 2018 and to be completed in March, 2021.
