It was published the first issue of theoretical and practical magazine “Finances and Economy”. The country’s Ministry of Finance and Economy is the founder of the new issue, edited in Turkmen, English and Russian. The periodical published scientific-and-theoretic, survey-and-analysis, information-and-education materials of both famous Turkmen scientists and young specialists, touching upon pressing topics of the country’s development at the present stage. The “High frontiers reached, perspective tasks” article narrates the significance of scientifically based state strategy of President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov. The publication outlines basic macroeconomic indicators, visualizing growth rates of key branches of the country’s economic complex. Special attention is paid to the national, state, regional and branch programs implemented. As it is noted, at present time, within their realization thousands of new constructions were put in commission among which are manufacturing ventures, modern objects of social and engineering infrastructure. The article gives coverage to priority orientations of the Socio-Economic Development Program of Turkmenistan for 2018-2024, adopted at the Elders’ Council meeting in October 2017. Publication demonstrates concrete examples, that Turkmenistan achieves great progress practically in all SDT missions, specifically in the sphere of improving the nation’s well-being, education, healthcare, economic activity, providing gender equality, ecological sustainability and etc. Another article of the issue continued this theme.
