Turkmen athletes continue successful performance at Asian Youth Powerlifting Championship in Urgench (Uzbekistan). The third day of the competition was triumphant for our team. it was the first time when Turkmen team won the gold of such big international youth tournament. It was the success of 10 grade school student of Young Olympians School Reyimbergen Jumayev in the weight category up to 62 kg. Our sportsman was the best with the result of 233 kg in two trials. In addition, he won the gold in snatch (110 kg) and the silver in clean and jerk (133 kg). At present, Turkmenistan team has 8 medals – two gold, five silver and one bronze. The tournament is continued and we are expecting new medals!
