Saparmyrat Odayev won silver medal in the weight category up to 64 kg at Asian Junior Boxing Championship in Bangkok (Thailand). The foster of coaches Serdar Hajiyeva and Ashyrmamet Satlykguliyev had three fights on his way to the final. In 1/8 of the final, our sportsman met the boxer from Laos and constantly attacking, left no chances to the opponent. In the fight with Iranian boxer, the victory was awarded to our compatriots by the results of three rounds. By unanimous referee decision, S. Odayev won the fight against Japanese sportsman placing more accurate punches. In the stubborn final fight, which was held almost equally by number of attacks, two of the referees could not make decision and offered the draw, one gave the victory to Tukmen boxer while other two conferred the victory to the representative of Kazakhstan what finally decided the result of the fight. Silver medal of Asian Championship is great achievement of Saparmyrat Odayev as this was his first big international competitions and young boxer has good perspective of sport growth.
