As part of the Culture Week–2018, participants visited unique historical monuments in Ahal province: the Seyit Jemaleddin Mosque and the ancient settlement of Paryzdepe. The Ak bugdaý National museum hosted the opening ceremony of the exhibition of local painters, items of decorative and applied art and the scientific conference headlined “The Great Silk Road in Visual Art”. At the Turkmen National Conservatory, merited masters who have brought up more than one generation of talented musicians were honored as part of the function “Mentorship: Creative Path of Masters of Art”. On the occasion of Day of Workers of Culture and Art and Magtymguly Pyragy’s Poetry Day, the capital will host the festive celebration “Pyragy’s Wisdom as Beacon of Sovereignty” that will take place on the square in front of the poet’s monument, while Anew will host the concert of performers from Ashgabat and Ahal province. Contests, conferences, folk performances, workshops, concerts, exhibitions of works of art, movie screenings and other functions are held everywhere as part of the creative campaign.
