The remarkable dates, national holidays and international events are marked with the significant achievements in the sphere of culture. “The Week of Culture held this year in the Ahal Velayat provides all opportunities for developing and popularizing the achievements of the Turkmen culture and arts, the national values. “The Day of Workers of Culture and Arts and the poetry of Magtymguly Fragi that is widely celebrated this year has acquired a special meaning. The dreams of the genius poet that passed through the centuries have come true in the new historical epoch – our cohesive people live a happy life. Today, the poems by Magtymguly Fragi, which are penetrated with the deep wisdom and have become an ode to patriotism, humanity and statehood, sound in the languages of different peoples all around the world. “There is a special symbolism in the joint celebration of the Day of Workers of Culture and Arts and the poetry of Magtymguly Fragi. Poet- thinker Magtymguly Fragi is considered as a spiritual mentor for Turkmen masters of arts. The wisdom of Fragi stands as a model school for the workers of culture and arts. “The workers of culture and arts, inspired with Magtymguly’s creativity, contribute to the ambitious achievements in all spheres of life of the country as well as the research works to study the peculiarities of the Turkmen culture and arts development, their further improvement and popularization. Therefore, trusting our masters of arts, we create all necessary conditions for their activity and creation of new works. We will continue developing this significant area. “Today, our independent neutral state has become the venue for international events and conferences. Moreover, the workers of culture and arts of Turkmenistan regularly participate in the international events in foreign states. The workers of culture and arts take part in the Days of Culture of Turkmenistan, organized in various countries all around the world. “The country successfully hosts the Days of Culture of friendly states that opens up wide opportunities to exchange experience, familiarize the representatives of various peoples with the Turkmen culture, and for our artistic masters – to learn more about the culture of other peoples. “The modern cultural facilities, erected in Ashgabat, velayats, etraps and other cities, have fundamentally transformed the look of the Motherland. At present, theatres, libraries, museums, centres of culture are very popular among our citizens and guests.
