The Mukams Palace of the State Cultural Centre hosted the final round of TV young performers contest «Ýaňlan, Diýarym!». The Ministry of Culture, the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Television, Radio and Cinematography, hykimliks of all velayats and the capital were the organizers of artistic marathon. More than 800 singers took part in the rounds of the contest marathon. According to the rules of the contest, various genres of vocal performance have been presented to the jury. The participants were able to demonstrate their talents in classical, folk and author songs performance. The jury judged the contesters by such criteria as vocal, skills and originality of performance as well as by an artistic presentation. The artistic marathon became the celebration of song for the spectators, which introduced young talents – the future of our vocal art, to them. 12 best singers – 8 young men and 4 young women, got the opportunity to take part in the final gala concert of the contest. The concert programme of this year, which is held under slogan “Turkmenistan – the Heart of the Great Silk Road” reflected the subject of succession of the traditions of national art. In their songs, the finalists glorified the Motherland, history of Turkmen nation and modern achievements. The songs about the beauty of homeland and beauty of Turkmen capital have also been sung. Some singers have chosen the songs made by modern Turkmen composers by the lyrics of classic poets. The audience has warmly welcomed popular songs of outstanding Turkmen maestro Nury Halmamedov, whose 80 years anniversary is marked this year. The final programme included the songs on the motifs of famous destans. The classics of music art and folk song, which are loved by the generations of music fans, were organically combined with modern popular rhythms. Last year winners of «Ýaňlan, Diyarym!» contest have also been invited to participate in gala concert. For them, the contest became the springboard to rich artistic life. Original arrangement of song and music compositions and unusual performance manner of amateur artists have been appreciated by the spectators. Summing up of the results and announcement of the winners of «Ýaňlan, Diýarym!» took place after the concert. The names of the winners were announced under load applauses of the participants. The winners received special diplomas and prizes on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan.
