Turkmenistan boxing team participates in Asian Junior championship, which is held in Kuwait on August 1 – 9. Representative tournament has brought together 150 sportsmen from 21 countries. As for today, Turkmen sportsmen have won 2 medals in the weight categories of 35 and above 70 kg. 8-grade school students Daniyar Rozmetov from Dashoguz and Bogdan Konstantinov from Ashgabat have won bronze medals for their team. Other two representatives of Turkmenistan – 7-grade school student Dovlet Nurmyradov and 8-grade school student Alisher Orazbayev have good chances to win the medals one day before the end of the Championship. Both sportsmen were qualified for the final part of the competitions in weight categories of 43 and 40 kg respectively.
