The International Equestrian Sports Center of State Association «Turkmen Atlary» is awarded the International Prize - «The best enterprise in the field of intellectual property». The founder of this prestigious award is the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) - an intergovernmental specialized organization of the United Nations which administers a number of key international conventions in the field of intellectual property. In his congratulatory address, the WIPO Director General Francis Gurry noted that the award was conferred on the International Equestrian Sports Center as one of the region’s best enterprises that had achieved considerable success in its principal activities. Headquartered in Geneva (Switzerland), the World Intellectual Property Organization was established in 1967. Its key goal is - to promote efficient use and protection of intellectual property regarded as an important instrument of the countries’ economic, social and cultural development.
