Last week, the footballers of Turkmenistan’s national team of Turkmenistan ended 1:1 the match with the team of Iran at the stadium in the administrate centre of the northern region of the country within the framework of the World Championship-2018 qualifying match. Since 2011, the national team of Iran that leads the Asian rating list - a three-time champion of Asia and four-time participant of World Championship final tournaments, is coached by famous Portuguese specialist Karlush Keyrosh who twice won in the World Championships (1989 and 1991) with the national youth team of Portuguese (under 20) and worked with national teams of Portuguese, UAE, SAR, and many other famous clubs. In the prior-to-match press conference, the trainer of the Iranian national team stated that his team felt pretty certain in its strength and three victory points in Turkmenistan. From the very beginning, Iranian footballers offered the host of the field a high tempo, and already in the fourth minute after the solo drive of Serdar Azmun opened the score. After holding out a powerful 15-minute attack, Turkmen footballers overcame the start-up excitement and one after another made regular attracts, creating dangerous moments for their opponents. The next qualifying match of World Championship the national team of Turkmenistan will play with the team of Oman on September 3 in the host country.
