Production of fuel and energy complex and textile industry is on the top of the trade session of the SCRMET

30 transactions have been registered at the trades of the State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange of Turkmenistan last week. For foreign currency, brokers from Afghanistan have bought jet fuel and liquefied gas produced at Turkmenbashy Refinery Complex. Technical sulphur (SC Turkmengaz) was a subject of bargain of businessmen from UAE and Turkey while carbamide (OJSV Turkmensenagat Export – Import) was bought by representatives of business circles from Panama. In addition, colourless sheet glass, Portland cement, cotton yarn and fibre have been sold for foreign currency to Russia, UAE, Turkey, China, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and other countries. Total amount of transactions was around 22 million US dollars. For local currency, businessmen from Russia, Great Britain, Canada and Turkey have bought cotton yarn to total amount of more than 4,544,000 manats. Turkmen businessmen have bought high-density polyethylene (SC Turkmengaz) for local market to total amount of 2,820,000 manats.
