Petrochemical production is on top of exchange trades

52 transactions have been registered at the trades of the State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange of Turkmenistan last week. For foreign currency, the brokers from Afghanistan, Great Britain, Kazakhstan, UAE, USA, Turkey have purchased diesel fuel and petroleum road bitumen produced by Turkmenbashy Refinery Complex. Businessmen from United Arab Emirates and great Britain have procured diesel fuel, heavy vacuum gasoil produced by Seydi Refinery while representatives of Russian Federation – high-density polypropylene from polymeric plant in Kiyanly. In addition, cotton yarn, licorice roots, uluk as well as colourless sheet glass have been sold for foreign currency to Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, UAE, Uzbekistan. Total amount of transactions was more than 46,772,000 US dollars. For national currency, entrepreneurs from United Arab Emirates and Turkey have bought cotton yarn to total amount of more than 4,605,000 manats. For internal market, local businessmen have procured high-density polyethylene and cotton fibre to total amount of more than 26,044,000 manats.
