On the International Women's Day, popular artists performed a big concert in honor of the beautiful half of the Turkmen society. The musical performance was held in the ceremonial hall of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, where only male artists performed songs for the listeners. The concert programme included new and well-know lyrical and folklore compositions. Among the guests of honour to the show were the mothers of many children, labor veterans, the best workers and active members of public organizations, scientists and workers of culture, workers of various industries. Employees of diplomatic missions accredited in our country, representatives of international structures, including the UN and the OSCE, were also invited to participate in the event. The concert started with a literary and musical performance “The Female Soul”. Students of the Turkmen State Institute of Culture, an acapella group of the Turkmen National Conservatory, and children's groups took part in it. Their colorful and soulful speech sounded as an expression of infinite love for mothers, the most sincere and deep gratitude to all women - custodians of the hearth and traditions, generously giving warmth, kindness, tenderness and care. Famous masters and young performers dedicated their songs, the melodies, penetrated with national motives and lofty poems to their female compatriots, expressing their admiration and awe, appreciation and best wishes. Speaking to the heart, vocal compositions were replaced by stirring events, making the audience dance. Interspersed with applause and holiday greetings, the musical marathon continued, reflecting in its palette all the brightest feelings, the flowering of the Turkmen spring and the female beauty that does not cease to inspire poets, composers and singers. Festive performances on occasion of the International Women's Day covered the main stages and concert halls of the capital and all the regions of the country.
