Talks with top management of Russian TRANSOIL Terminal have been held in the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Protection. Representatives of the Foreign Ministry, Union of industrialists and entrepreneurs of the country have also taken part in online meeting from Turkmen side. Cooperation in the sphere of maritime transportation and logistics, supply of agricultural production were among the subjects under discussion. Detailed exchange of opinions on perspectives of development of trade and economic relations, for activation of which all favourable conditions are available including geographic proximity of Caspian Region of Turkmenistan , which has modern port infrastructure, and Astrakhan Region of Russian Federation, has been held during the session. It was highlighted at the session that cooperation established between business circles of two countries in many important spheres is distinguished with good dynamics recently. This is indicated by the session of Turkmen – Astrakhan Joint Council for entrepreneurship, which was held on the day before. Representatives of Russian business introduced capabilities of their company, which has specialized terminal for reception and shipment of vegetable oils from railway, automobile and water transport, their storage in reservoir park, to Turkmen colleagues. This terminal is located next to Narimanov city on the right bank of Volga River.
