Video Conference with Representatives of SICPA SA Focuses on Product Labeling

The Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan has held a meeting via video conference between representatives of ministries and sectoral agencies of Turkmenistan and Swiss company SICPA SA. The meeting focused on enhancing the bilateral cooperation, including on product labeling, production output control and monitoring of goods imported to and exported from Turkmenistan. In January 2020, a Memorandum of Understanding on Strategic Partnership was signed between the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan and SICPA SA (Switzerland), one of the world’s leading suppliers of labeling equipment and software solutions. As highlighted, the area of cooperation had taken on new urgency given steady increases in the production of diverse industrial and agricultural products in our country. During the discussions, the sides indicated their readiness to foster the mutually advantageous cooperation and supply our country with advanced product labeling technologies.
