Aspects of cooperation with International Migration Organization discussed at video conference session

The Foreign Ministry hosted regional video conference session under regional initiative of International Migration organization (IMO) for coordination of cooperation related to mitigation of negative impact of pandemic of severe infectious disease COVID-19. It was mentioned that expansion of partnership with competent international organizations including in human rights and humanitarian law is one of priorities of the state policy of Turkmenistan. Our country is an active participant of positive global processes, which is visually indicated by creative initiatives of Turkmen leader aimed at provision of common prosperity and progress as well as at development of balanced solutions of current modern problems. Expressing serious concern with scales of coronavirus pandemic in the world, the participants of regional conference highlighted the necessity of consolidation of efforts in combating of this global threat.
