Development of Draft Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Energy and Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Energy of Russian Federation on cooperation in energy sphere was the main subject of online meeting held in the Ministry of Energy of the country. It was highlighted at the talks that comprehensive strengthening and diversification of economic relations with one of strategic partners of Turkmenistan – Russia, is one of the main directions of foreign course of our state. There are good perspectives for practical collaboration and coordination of cooperation between two states in power energy taking into account their resource potential, ongoing and future projects in the sphere of transit and export of energy. In particular, this is related to the projects of construction of Turkmenistan – Afghanistan – Pakistan high-voltage power line and combination of power energy system of Central Asia, formation of common power energy market of Eurasian Economic Union by 2025 and other aspects.
