Development of bilateral cooperation and its perspectives have been brought out to the agenda of online political consultations between foreign ministries of Turkmenistan and Russian Federation. Participants of the meeting exchanged opinions on activation of beneficial partnership in such strategic directions as trade and economic activity, fuel and energy complex as well as transport and communication, banking and financial, cultural and humanitarian spheres. At the same time, significant potential for activation of business relations and investments has been noted. Intensification of productive cooperation with regions and big industrial and cultural centres of Russian Federation is one of priorities of development of bilateral relations. Efficient cooperation between our country and the Republic of Tatarstan, Saint Petersburg, Astrakhan and other entities of Russian Federation are good sample of this. Current subjects of the partnership in consolidated combat against COVID-19 pandemic and its consequences have been discussed during consultations. Efficiency of the dialog between two countries under the United Nations, CIS and other international structures has been noted. High appraisal has been given during online meeting to foreign course of Turkmenistan, which is based on the principles of positive neutrality and constructive international initiatives of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, which are aimed at comprehensive strengthening of peace and stability on the planet, formation of trust climate in the region and solution of global issues from the position of peace-making diplomacy.
