President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Executive Director of the Turkmen-American Business Council Eric Stewart had a telephone conversation. The representative of US business community warmly congratulated the President of Turkmenistan on his birthday, wishing him good health, happiness and success for the benefit of the Fatherland and the Turkmen people. According to Eric Stewart, the rich experience of a politician and the talent of the leader brought the Turkmen leader well-deserved authority and respect both in Turkmenistan and far beyond its borders. Thanking for the congratulations and kind words, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized that our country, committed to the course of peacemaking and implementing foreign policy on the principles of neutrality and constructive international cooperation, was always open for a fruitful dialogue on an equal basis with all interested partners, including American companies. The President of Turkmenistan expressed satisfaction with that over the past years, the traditionally friendly relations between Turkmenistan and the United States had become increasingly dynamic and progressive. In the course of the conversation, the parties exchanged views on the prospects for further intensification of business cooperation between the two countries in its priority areas, including in the oil and gas sector, the textile, chemical and food industries, in agricultural production, transport and communications, and tourism. It was underlined the significant role of the Turkmen-American Business Council, which has established itself as an effective mechanism for promoting trade and economic relations and stimulating investment activity. It was emphasized that Turkmenistan, as a reliable partner, attracted foreign companies with its economic stability, favorable investment climate, and an optimal organizational and legal structure for doing business. In conclusion of the telephone conversation, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the Executive Director of the Turkmen-American Business Council expressed confidence that the Turkmen-American economic partnership would develop successfully.
