President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed a Decree , authorizing: To hold a session of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan in the Ruhyet Palace in Ashgabat on September 25. To establish an organizational committee to hold a session of Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan at the high level. The Halk Maslahaty of in the regions of the country and Ashgabat to hold elections of public representatives to the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, as well as to submit the list of members, elected to the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan from the regions of the country and Ashgabat to the Office of the President of Turkmenistan by September 1, 2020. The Mejlis of Turkmenistan to provide organizational and methodological assistance to the velayat, etrap and city halk maslahaty in election of Halk Maslahaty members, to organize the preparatory work and hold the meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, and to coordinate these activities. The Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, the Office of the President of Turkmenistan and the Cabinet of Ministers, the Ashgabat and Velayat Khyakims, the apparatus of the Halk Maslahaty, the Chairmen of the Halk Maslahaty in regions and Ashgabat to ensure the implementation of this Decree.
