Tbilisi TV tower has been lit up in the colours of the State Flag of Turkmenistan on the evening of September 26. Friendly action organized by the municipality of Tbilisi with support of the Embassy of Turkmenistan has become a sign of respect paid by Georgian people to Turkmen nation and remarkable date of its history – the Independence Day, which is observed on September 27.
