Turkmen – French cooperation in agrarian sector of the economy has been brought to the agenda of the webinar organized by French Entrepreneurship Association MEDEF International and diplomatic missions of two countries.

Representatives of the ministries of agriculture and natural protection, finances and economy as well as Central Bank, State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs, Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs have taken part in video conference session. Management of MEDEF International and top managers of around 35 French companies specialized in agricultural sphere have participated in the meeting from French side.

Turkmen side has introduced in details integrated changes in agricultural complex of the country to their French colleagues as well as presented export and investment potential of our country in agricultural sphere.

Cooperation in the sphere of development of hothouse farming, which is one of promising export oriented direction of Turkmenistan’s agricultural complex was one of the subjects of discussion. Representatives of French business circles have presented their capabilities and expressed willingness in implementation of new projects.

The sides have agreed to organize special webinar on the aspects of development of hothouse complexes. The interest of French companies in participation in profile reviews and forums organized in Turkmenistan has been also expressed.
