A nationwide planting campaign took place in Ashgabat and all regions of the country. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov participated in the event.

Early morning, the Turkmen leader arrived to the venue and launched the campaign with taking care of seedlings.

Following the Turkmen leader, all participants of the event started to take care of the trees.

Planting campaigns are held in spring and autumn. Representatives of all ministries, sectoral departments, hyakimliks of velayats and cities, cultural centers and educational institutions are involved in this work. As a result of joint efforts, millions of seedlings of deciduous and coniferous trees, fruit crops and grapes are planted every year.

The atmosphere of spiritual uplift, which united all the participants of th eplanting campaign, was emphasized by the performances of famous singers and choreographic groups.

Upon completion of the campaign, the President of Turkmenistan shared with the Chairperson of the Mejlis, members of the Government his opinion on the continuation of these works. In this regard, the importance of ecological culture in the system of national values was emphasized.

Wishing everyone success in their noble work, the President of Turkmenistan left the venue.
