President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to or country Qian Naicheng.

Extending sincere gratitude to the head of the state for spared time for the audience, the diplomat has conveyed warm greetings and wished addressed by Chairman of the PRC Xi Jinping.

The Ambassador highlighted that this is a big honor for him to represent the People’s Republic of China in our country, which is famous for its progressive foreign policy based on the status of permanent neutrality.

Having expressed gratitude for warm words and conveyed return wishes to the Government of the PCR, the head of the state highlighted special interest of Turkmenistan in strengthening of traditionally friendly and respectful relations with China.

During the meeting, the President of the country and Chinese diplomat expressed confidence that results of International conference “International Cooperation of Independent, Permanently Neutral Turkmenistan for Peace and Trust” would support the improvement of understanding and respect between different states in achievement of common goals for the sake of humankind.

During the meetings, the sides have also noted the presence of multidimensional potential of Turkmen – Chinese strategic partnership for effective consolidation of efforts in fuel and energy complex, trade, economic and humanitarian spheres.

It was noted that humanitarian and cultural relations, which strengthening is mainly supported by various events, scientific and cultural forums as well as activity of Intergovernmental Turkmen – Chinese Cooperation Committee, have always been and remain to be the dominants of bilateral relations.

Having expressed gratitude for productive exchange of opinion on wide range of matters presenting mutual interest, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China Qian Naicheng assured President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov that he would put all efforts for steadfast development of interstate dialog.
