I wish you great success in developing the art of horse breeding and dog breeding!”, says President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov congratulating horse breeders and dog breeders of Turkmenistan, as well as all compatriots.

According to the Turkmen leader, magnificent Ahalteke horses are the elite horses of the world horse breeding culture, and fearless Alabay dogs, the most ancient dog breeds, occupying a special place in the life of our people, are an invaluable national treasure. At all times, Ahalteke horses have been famous in the world for their beauty, amazing temper and sensitivity, and Turkmen Alabay - for their loyalty and fearlessness.

Opening of specialized associations with international status, headquartered in Ashgabat, has significantly widened partnerships with various states in these areas. Modern equestrian complexes, Turkmen Alabay centers that meet international standards, built in the regions of the country and Ashgabat, have created optimal conditions for the work of specialized professionals.

Special attention is paid to the training of highly qualified personnel in the field of horse breeding and cynology: special training centers are opened to train professional jockeys and horse-breakers. Opening of an open arena at the Ashgabat equestrian complex for holding competitions in show jumping facilitated the accelerated development of national equestrian sports. All necessary conditions for the organization of international competitions among Alabay dogs were created at the complex of the International Association "Türkmen alabaý itleri". 

In his congratulatory address, the President of Turkmenistan emphasized that our ancestors had identified horses with determination, and Alabay - with fearlessness and courage. According to the Turkmen leader, Ahalteke horses and Turkmen Alabay, fostered for many centuries by our ancestors, are considered the world's elite among horses and dogs. The President of Turkmenistan underlined that the government would continue supporting the development of horse-breeding and cynology, share of experience at the international level.
