“Let me extend my cordial congratulations on the blessed Qadr Night - the Night of Power, which symbolizes virtue, spiritual purity, goodness, high humanity and solidarity, which we observe according to primordial national traditions and customs, light thoughts and hopes”, - the message of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to fellow countrymen says.

It is mentioned in the message that good behavior, nobility and respectfulness are inherent to Turkmen people. All of these together with material and spiritual values, religious and temporal outlook are the basis for creativity and prosperity. Therefore, we widely celebrate the holidays and glorious days glorifying traditions and customs, beliefs and foundation. The Night of Power when the Almighty has revealed the first verses of the Holy Quran call for spiritual purity and humanity. This is a sacred night, the night of abundance and appeasement, when food donations are given according to ancient traditions, blessings, wishes of peaceful, happy and wealthy life are given to each other and prayers are said.

The traditions of the Qadr Night of the month of Ramadan, which calls for achievement of enlightenment through physical and spiritual improvement, are the combination of the vision of our ancestors about mercy and justice. We held pardoning actions of convicts on occasion of the Qadr Night for provision of the wellbeing in our society and strengthening its solidarity.
