The ceremonies of laying flowers ceremony to the Monument to the Constitution and the Main Flag of Turkmenistan took place in Ashgabat, with the participation of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

Festive events started at the majestic Monument of Constitution. The Turkmen leader arrived to the venue and headed to the special place. The National Anthem sounded.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov laid flowers to the Monument of Constitution, which has not only consolidated but also determined the main directions of the progressive development of Turkmen society. As the unshakable legal foundation of our state, the Constitution embodies the centuries-old dreams of the people about unity, democracy, patriotism and justice.

Following the Turkmen leader, members of the Government, heads of the Mejlis and Halk Maslahaty of Milli Gengesh, military and law enforcement agencies, ministries and departments, honorary elders, representatives of public organizations, as well as all participants in the celebrations laid the wreaths and bouquets of flowers to the Monument.

Upon completion of the ceremony, the Turkmen leader’s cortege arrived to the square with the State Flag. The State Anthem of Turkmenistan was played.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov laid a magnificent wreath to the flagpole. Following the Turkmen leader, participants of the ceremony laid bouquets of flowers to the State Flag of Turkmenistan.
